It was all last minute, but Carolyn was asked to join a Q&A session at the L.A. premier of a important new documentary, America the Beautiful, with the director, Darryl Roberts. Visit the site, www.americathebeautifuldoc.com.

The invitation came from a new film festival organization called "Artivists" - "combining the efforts of activists and artists". We know they are going to Portugal and London over the next 6 weeks and afterwards, Washington, D.C.. They are presenting 50 new films. Check them out at www.artivists.org.

America the Beautiful is a powerful film about the impact that the beauty industry has upon our culture, how the self image of American women is affected by it and how the net effect is that everyone feels worse about themselves!

Obviously eating disorders are a byproduct of this cultural force and in that context Carolyn was invited to bring her message that recovery is possible, even against such great odds. We hope all of you will see this movie. It is showing at film festivals right now, ultimately it will be available for everyone to see. Look for it!
